About Me

My name is Jamie Hutson, I am a 2005 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. I grew up in Mystic, CT and currently live in Manhattan. I love music, sports, the ocean and technology.

I started my first business when I was 16, cleaning boats and diving for dropped valuables with my good friend Dave. At 21 I founded a locally based destination guide built around live music and restaurants, beginning in Saratoga Springs. We have since grown with no shortage of failures along the way.

Living in NYC has changed my perspective on the world entirely. The world is a huge place, but its put together neighborhood by neighborhood. And I’m out to reveal those neighborhoods worth sharing (if only to myself). Technology is awesome, and media is exciting, the nexus of the two is where I live and work, and I’m out to change this world.

This is my interpretation of the life I live in. As Seth Godin often refers to - My World. What I see, how I see it working, and where I see it going. Frequent interjections of humor may be found.
